Taylor Litman is a recent college grad from the University of Texas at Austin. She majored in Textile and Apparel Design. Her passion for fashion design began when she was 13, having participated in a summer camp focused on developing creative and technical fashion design skills. 

 

Since then, Taylor has gained a lot of experience in the fashion industry. In the Summer of 2013, Taylor lived in New York City and worked for the jewelry company Frieda and Nellie. In the Fall of 2014, Taylor studied abroad at the London College of Fashion, furthering her advanced sewing skills and taking courses such as Draping and Corsetry. In the Summer of 2015, Taylor interned with the department store Stanley Korshak in Dallas, Texas. At Stanley Korshak, Taylor learned the retail and business side of the industry, which has helped to make her fashion knowledge very well-rounded.

 

Currently, Taylor is working at Albright Fashion Library in New York City as a styling intern. She is passionate about broadening her knowledge of the fashion industry and continuing her fashion career, and will do so in New York City. There, she will further develop her skills in styling and retail, complementing her existing skills in jewelry and fashion design.
